Good for about 30mins, two adults and a child and you are paying $17.50 which is a bit steep for what you get. No toliet either which is average as seeing it is targeted at children who are more likely to need to go toilet more often. Would suit kids more 2-3 years old. Over 3s get a bit bored quite quickly.

If your a kiwi kid in the 70's or 80's you'll identify with a lot of the stuff here (myself). For the few dollars it cost to get in, it was cool. A nice history lesson of toy manufacturing in the 70's

Great little museum showing the history of funho. Friendly staff and reasonable priced.

Well worth the visit. Very quaint and old school but our newly 5 year old had a blast for his birthday treat and got a new real toy truck to dirty up. Anyone with a pinch of nostalgia and any one under 10 will love it. Old dioramas, a video history, 850° hot furnace and a sand pit, what's not to like? We got lucky with toymaker Brian being onsite to set up some sand molds and giving us an old fashioned show and tell. Was interesting to set the toys in their part processed state. Brought back memories. The toys are basic yet so clever and tough. Thanks to all. Just a further note .... it's a year after this review and our lads truck has opened a quarry on many beaches since ...and is still in mint condition. Quality toy????

Lots of toys nostalgia. Some active toys. Fun to go with kids. Side exhibit on tools and trades.
